Bio:
The Founder of The Casino Law Group LLC, Cory has over 15 years of gaming law experience as a regulator, attorney, casino developer, gaming device supplier, and academic. He is a former legal counsel to the Illinois Gaming Board, an adjunct professor of gaming law at the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, IL, and a founding member of the International Masters of Gaming Law. Cory is an award recipient of The John Rosecrance Gambling Research Paper Competition, by The Institute for the Study of Gambling and Commercial Gaming, University of Nevada and was presented with a Distinguished Service Award from The John Marshall Law School for his achievements in gaming law. In 2000, Cory was named one of the “Top 40 Lawyers Under 40” by the Chicago Law Bulletin for his contributions to the gaming industry. Cory has published extensively in the area of gaming law including law reviews and as a contributing author in several books. He has been cited by at least two state supreme courts and served as an expert witness for the City of Chicago. His public presentations include seminars, association meetings, radio and television and testimony before legislative bodies. He has consulted to the U.S. Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission and serves many industry committees.
