Regardless of race, creed, color, national original, or religion, people like to gamble.
Almost all countries of the world afford their citizens some form of legal gambling.
Yet, opportunities to gamble exist in every country. It could be betting on a hot stock
rumor or checking the bottom of a soda can to see if you won the trip to the World Cup.
Gambling can be roughly divided into two categories: traditional and non-traditional.
Traditional gaming includes casinos, horse racing, bingo, sports wagering, and lotteries.
Non-traditional gaming, however, is becoming more prevalent, particularly over the
Internet. It can take many forms, such as the playing of a video game tournament where
any element of the game involves predominately chance. It also could be a promotion
where a product or service comes with the chance to win a prize.
